Article from Bean's Trees and Shrubs Hardy in the British Isles
A genus of about ten species of deciduous or partly evergreen shrubs or small trees; leaves trifoliolate, small; flowers yellow, in terminal racemes; pod glandular, a character to which the generic name refers. The species are wild in the Mediterranean region and on the mountains of North Africa.
