Offspring of Acer ‘Serpentine’, which has Acer davidii as one of its parents. A small, pendulous tree. Bark striated, branchlets purple. Leaves narrow, to 10 cm long (le Hardÿ de Beaulieu 2003). Distributed in cultivation only.

RHS Hardiness Rating H5

Aside from its pendulous habit, Acer ‘Cascade’ is otherwise similar to A. ‘Serpentine’ (le Hardÿ de Beaulieu 2003).
