USDA Hardiness Zone 7

RHS Hardiness Rating H5

Paulownia × henanensis was described in 1995 as an artificial hybrid of P. catalpifolia and P. tomentosa, growing in China’s Henan Province (IPNI 2022). It has probably contributed to today’s complex forestry hybrids but may not be in cultivation in the west, either in plantations or as a garden tree.
