Shrub, 2–4 m. Leaves coriaceous, 9–11 × 2–3.2 cm, lanceolate, apex acuminate, lower surface covered with a dense thick dark fawn to light brown indumentum composed of dendroid hairs with long straight branches. Flowers 10–15, in a dense truss, white flushed pink, with a few flecks, campanulate, lacking nectar pouches, 35–40 mm; ovary densely brown-tomentose, style glabrous. Flowering February-April.
