Tetraclinis

The developing cones of Tetraclinis articulata are covered in glaucous wax, which disappears as they mature. The extremely small leaves are an adaptation to its arid habitat. Image S. Knees.

The genus Tetraclinis is monospecific, comprising only the species T. articulata.
