A genus of intergeneric hybrids between Phyllodoce and Rhodothamnus, in which only the cross described below is known. These two genera are outwardly very dissimilar, the flowers in Phyllodoce being campanulate or urn-shaped, salver-shaped in Rhodothamnus. In fact they are quite closely allied, both belonging to the tribe Rhododendreae.
